Scoopy The Clown

So it was brought to my attention that the ice cream cone company that simultaneously made my childhood great and at the same time terrified me to my very core has come out with a limited edition Scoopy The Clown Doll. What the hell? Who would buy this thing? It's 12" tall and comes with coupons for 3 free sessions of therapy.

While eating an ice cream cone and looking at Scoopy's face on the box, I decided that there must be more to Scoopy than meets the eye. What I want to know is: who IS Scoopy? Did he do any other gigs as a clown or is the ice cream cone box his best ever job? Is he still alive? My journey begins.

I too saw that stupid doll for sale...right. That's a marketing tool that's going no where.

Glad you have a blog entry about The Famous Mr Scoop. I'll report back if I find out any details about this celebrity clown's life.

I got a Scoopy the Clown Doll in the mail today as a birthday present from my mom. Best money ever spent by my family. I'm pretty sure, however, it's going to come alive in the night and murder me.

He's really terrifying. Going to the local grocery store as a child gave me the displeasure of seeing him on the cone box. Yet, I couldn't help looking at it. Probably trying to figure out why such a creepy thing was on a box containing something good. Show the picture of your doll, dog!
